If Zotfile is installed and configured the PDFs under the File field will be imported and renamed. Import the file into Zotero (enable import of linked files). Only this way the Zotero will recognize all the attached filenames. The pdfimages.exe file can be downloaded from as a part of the Xpdf tools suite. It can analyse and categorise sections into reference and non-reference sections and can split reference sections into individual references. Open the bib file in, for example, TextEdit and rename any File-2, File-3 etc.
